The Setting.

Our unique rammed earth cottage is set on a ridge of red earth that overlooks the
Wartook Valley to Mt Difficult.

To the south, there are magnificent views of the Asses Ears Range.

The interior and exterior of the house reflect the colours of the environment - the morning sun casts a warm glow on the front terrace; the afternoon sun fills the rear courtyard with warmth and colour.

In the garden we have planted indigenous native plants and landscaped using local rock, gravels and rusted iron and steel features.
All is intended to require minimal watering and thrive in the local conditions.

At dawn and dusk each day, expect to see a mob of grey kangaroos and wallabies that
come to graze the pasture at the front of the cottage.
